i saw an amazing thing tonight late in the game john cartwright run onto the field on the short side and direct finch who had planned to go open side and yell to finch to kick deep on the short side.

he did and he kicked it dead, that plus ronnie palmer s constant traffic cop imitations made the game an even bigger comedy.....if thats possible!

ps i would have called it the "blind" side but to many on here i realise that would have been offensive!!!

I noticed today that Walters spends virtually theentire time on the field when the broncos are in possession. Points to Hunt telling him where to stand. Whispers in Lockyers ear, etc

It's a joke. Trainers should have a time limit for each time they go the field.

I'd say yes for sure.

Watched the Tigers game today. Andrew Leeds got more game time than some of their bench players. He was doing the same as the Roosters guys. Not noticed because he's not at the Roosters.

Mary McGregor was the same in the Saints game.

Do we even have an ex player as a trainer? Or is it just Trent Elkin and his obscene contract.

regardless of how we played or the result, this thread was started about a seperate issue and a very vallid one IMO.

The roosters trainers were on far far more than our own, and when ours went on they went on , attended to a player, gave him a drink etc then came off, Palmer and cartwirght stayed on coaching the team in attack on where to direct the play. I thought on field coaching stopped in under 10s FFS. Its an abuse of the system and it detracts from the game, whichever side is doing it, whether we win lose or draw.

perhaps simmo could have passed it over touch or run it into touch and miss a bagfull of tackles to get some respect
