Leeds 20-Huddersfield 12
Wakefield 14- Bradford 20
Warrington 6- Salford 24

the Leeds and Bradford scores were closer than expected but the Salford victory was unexpected to say the least.

(Just merged the two threads...)

Good first-up crowd for Harlequins - trick will be if they get any first-timers coming back.

Salford result was a shock to me, I was starting to think that on paper Warrington might be in for a good season, and had almost written Salford off...

Will be interesting to see how Catalans do away from home as well.

Salford... amazing. I'd have given them a chance with Robinson and Dunemann but thought Wire would walk home in this one. Wakey did ALOT better than I thought they would, still should be the ones to make the drop though.

'Quins getting smashed, not cool. I was hoping they'd do a bit better than that but oh well. McLinden didn't play and they really miss him when he's out.

Think Saints would have taken a good number of fans down to the capital and it will be interesting to see how many of the Quins "fans" actually come back...

Even if a 1000 extra turn up then usual to watch the Quins it'll still be good news.

London have taken so much crap over the years by various fans and its good to see there work is starting to pay off.

Interesting to note that the Harlequins' debut home crowd last weekend was roughly the same as the home crowd reported for their RU cousins game (8,000) played this Saturday...
