Just wondering what your Round 1 team will be, I am prob the least sure on this team then i am with others possibly bar Melbourne so It's getting closer and closer to Round 1.

I think I remember reading somewhere that when Ferguson signed he'd get first crack at centre. It'd be a mistake IMO....much better off with Thompson there even if he's probably more of a backrower

Also surely Waddell will play off the bench if Tongue starts at hooker?

Furner has signalled he is likely to keep Thompson in the centres and therefore Ferguson and Vidot on the wings.

The backrow is such a headache. There are so many different options. I would say Harrison has one position tied up but the other 2 could be anything. Do we keep Tongue at lock or give Fensom first crack? Do we move Thompson into the backrow or keep him at centre?, he has to be in the starting side somewhere. Then theres Picker, Thurling and Mataora...all competing for a spot.

I think with Monas gone I believe JT has one centre spot guaranteed , especially with so many other vying for a backrow spot.

JT performed well in the centres last year before injury and with an off season training in that position we should see an improvement.

His time will come when he slots into the backrow and when he does he is going to be a gun.

Williams is a great kid but was out of depth on Junior Kangaroo tour, not ready for NRL yet... at least 18 months off

I thought I read somewhere that he would be right for the season opener.

Id rather Orford was there because i dont think Picker is upto NRL level.

If he does play then I hope he proves me wrong.
