About what I expected except for Georgie boy starting. Not what I had hoped with the centres but still a decent line up. Hasn't dampened my enthusiasm any, the long wait is over.....GO DRAGONS !

I am not so confident about this game. For all the talk about Melbourne getting older and weaker, that is a weapon forward pack featuring one of the Top 5 props in the world, international edge forwards and one of the best young middle forwards in Finucane. With Smith, they are even stronger. And there's still plenty of strike in the backs - Chambers could wreak havoc outside of Harris and Slater still has a lot to offer.

Danger game, we need to be on top of our game in order to get this one.

Also, Nielsen? Really?!

Pretty much as expected . Rose gets a start by default due to the poor form of OBrien, and the ridiculous reluctance to play Merrin at prop.

As I said McGregor sees Nielsen as our first choice centre so he gets a walk up start.
Farrell gets a start simply because the team won last outing and most conservative coaches like Mary won't change a winning lineup too much.
