By far the strongest roster they've had, just need flegler back

I thought Bennett maybe tempted to find a place for Fuller, but unfortunately his lack of versatility has seen him straight out of the team following the return of the Hammer. It's a nice headache to have and I'm sure Fuller won't be out of the 17 too long with Origin right around the corner.

The last Tigers game proved to be something of a disaster for the Dolphins despite the victory. Flegler, Farnworth and Kaufusi all suffered injuries and there's talk that Flegler's shoulder injury could be season ending. Fingers crossed the Dolphins can get through this unscathed and build on the past couple of victories.

Dolphins 24 (Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2, Jack Bostock, Mark Nicholls tries; Jamayne Isaako 4/4 goals) def. Wests Tigers 12

7-3

Phins Up!

I found it to be a frustrating win for the Dolphins. They lost the early exchanges, but they managed to repel the Tigers attack and lay on the opening two tries. However they never settled into any rhythm and even when the Tigers had 11 players on the field, the only points came off of their mistakes.

In the end, it was a patchy game with some flashes of brilliance in attack and some stoic defence on the goal line. The highlight for the Dolphins came towards the end of the game when the Tigers were beginning to get on top physically. Katoa deep inside his own half, puts in a brilliant kick for a 40/20 and his two senior players in Bromwich and Kaufusi led the chase to change the tide of the game.

It was also nice to see the Hammer back in action. While he wasn't at his brilliant best, he bagged a double and played a pivotal role in the lead up to the Bostock try.
