Was more worried out of that game about Reynolds. I think if Mbye was available he wouldn't have played. Looked like a passenger out there.

Can anyone say mid year slump? or were we just pretenders being at the top anwyay? That was close to our best team there. Thumped in conditions that suit us. First 20 was really good and T Rex looked hungry in offence and defence. Once they got that 1st try and we realised that balls weren't going to bounce our way we lost it.

Boys will need to lift and sort their shit out. We've got another 4-5 weeks of this shit to get through.

The Origin period has taken a toll on the team.. Having players missing for a week and a half and missing games, especially key players like our halves, has a real dampening affect. Then when those players come back they're understandably sore and worn out physically and mentally.

The whole Origin structure needs to be rejigged so that clubs aren't being so disadvantaged like we are this year and the Roosters last year and Melbourne every year.

Melbourne were annihilated by a very average roosters team! Manly on the other hand are a team who were hungry after being hammered by the Broncos last week. They rarely loose 2 games in a row. Then again neither do we, so this kind game was bound to disappoint somebody - unfortunately it was us.
