Telegraph are reporting Daine Laurie is debuting, replacing MWZ, if thats the case Ivan obviously doesn't rate MWZ

Interesting, especially against a good team like the raiders. Could also be about getting some game time if he’s needed at fullback down the road.

Only reason off the top of my head I can think they'd back him on debut in the wet. I don't know much about him from lower grades was more familiar with Staines.

With Staines & Edwards both injured, it makes sense to get some game time for Laurie.

With a hamstring it’s best to wait as long as possible, they re-injure quite easily.

Laurie would get owned on the wing. Hopefully he plays FB with Aekins on the wing

Dane Laurie is ver talented, he is in the Kalyn Ponga mould of fullback real elusive will of the wisp.

Would I debut on the wing, tomorrow against the Raiders, no I wouldn’t but Ivan hasn’t got too many decisions wrong this year.

I hope we stick solid with MWZ he rarely lets us down when called upon much as I look forward to Laurie getting his chance in due course.

Makes no sense to throw Laurie in against Raiders. Much better side than Titans where Ivan picked MWZ ahead of him.

Rapana and Cotric on the wings. Both guys are beasts. Pretty big ask for a player on debut to go up against either of them. With this weather I wouldn't think fullback was ideal either.

If he makes his debut I will be excited to see him. But if ever there was a time to play it safe... Its in the wet against a good team with powerful wingers.

Daine Laurie played fullback and 5/8 in reggies last year can ballplay is a good runner good speed. Played in FG trial against Parramatta in Bega looked good, Go Daine hope you do well!!

I’ve seen him beat Staines over 100 but it was tight.
