Got Peach on nice and early, and got him back on when he was needed.

I was pleased with this. Was tearing my hair out during the Warriors game when Peach didn't play the first 40. It certainly worked a treat tonight with the main man scoring the winning touch down.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by Edwards at fullback. He showed this time and time again in lower grades. He is a Tedesco style fullback.

His bbiggwst error was a ref and video ref error. His error in the contest was a Raiders knock on that the officials ignored. Most impressive is wi ning on the back of dodgy calls.

Better than TMM and another call Hook got made for him

Watched TMM today. He is yet to capture any real form.

And BTW,Moylan has scored 5 tries in his past 5 games.
He had his first double the other week. He has scored tries at a rate we havent ever seen before. Sets them up. Tell me again how playing 6 will reduce his effective with the ball.... the more ball he gets, and the earlier he gets it the better.

100% win rate at 6... including 2 wins from the ashes. His NSW win and that win this week were against the odds. Clutch plays that win games

I was actually just talking to a panthers fan on twitter who swears it was a plan by Griffin to move Moylan halfway during the year. He called it a "master stroke" :joy::joy:
f**k that shits me... people calling it a master stroke. 4 years after it should have happened.

Everyone... EVERYONE,.. knew it was the way to go. Coach is proven stupid if anything by the succEss

I don't think he's the greatest coach of all time but putting shit on the bloke for the sake of putting shit on him gets so tiresome.
Then don't read it, because frankly overall I think we're just near where we should have been at the start of the season, and that Griffin got there more through having had his hand forced rather than good management.

Meaning we've got half a season to start refining things to be the premiership threat we were expected to be, instead of the full season we should have had.

I'll be happy and full of praise for Griffin when we start playing to our potential, for 80mins.

Wow, what a result. Extremely fast and physical game, I think that ensured there were a heap of errors. Not a bad game at all IMO and a great test for us. For all the praise the Raiders defence got, I think our defence was exceptional for the majority against a good quality attacking side. Two tries off kicks as well.

More than happy to look like an idiot in regards to my thoughts about Moylan at 6. Duck to water and all that. Few things he needs to fine tune but his ball playing has been exceptional.

IMO Rein was tremendous again, both in attack and defence. I'll be disappointed to see Wallace back at 9 but I think we'll see 9. Wallace 14. Rein, with Kikau back to NSW Cup.

Still too many individual errors but if we can clean them up, I think we'll trouble every side in the comp.
Agree re Moylan, it's his short kicking game that needs work. He needs to be able to put them behind teams for tries and repeat sets.

Amazing win and stand out performances from Moylan, Edwards, DWZ and mansour.

What had happened to Whare? He has been almost anonymous the last 2 weeks. No spark in attack and doesn't help carry the ball out our half.

No need with our back 3. Blake has also been quiet. They are going to catch a cold if we can't get them early ball.

What about Griffin playing Cartwright ahead of Moylan at 6?!

If Cartwright doesn't get injured he would've been in the 6 tonight.
Well Edwards wasn't ready last year and DWZ has dodgy hands at the back. Remember TMM and Swoard were injured so Hook didn't have too many options and we managed to make it work quite well. I still think we need Cartwright in the team, he gives us more variety in attack, especially when we press their line. He should now be able to come back and play in his correct position in the back row. Yeo, CWH and Cartwright with Peachey and JFH off the bench is a pretty damn good back row that also has pace to cover the backs and skill to cover the halves. Merrin then becomes an almighty prop, giving us four pretty good ones - Tamou, RCG, Latu being the other three. Oops, five including Mansour.

Mansour is a beast. I can't get over his recovery from injury. Wolverine in shorts.

Edwards is a gun. He made a mistake, Didn't phase him. Papali tried to bust him in half, didn't phase him. He just kept turning up and troubled their defence all night. If Moylan was fullback tonight we would have started our sets a lot further back down the field.

Is he injured? Reggies surely beckons.

Didn't watch the game live live as was working but listened to last half an hour. We did everything possible to lose the game. Having just watched the replay I thought I must have been dreaming because how can you possibly score two tries in the last two minutes. It just doesn't happen. Still a lot of work to be done. We have the makings of a good team but have to cut out the dumb shit.

That's exactly my point though. Anything he gets right is put down to his hand being forced... but anything that goes against us is entirely his fault. He's in a lose lose situation.

How often to you see a young side play to their potential from Rnd 1? Especially a side with a new spine. No doubt he would of been disappointed to start the season but his job description isn't to have the team leading the comp by Rnd 10, its to win the comp or at least be a threat. We're not there yet but it's looking likely we'll be there at the business end.

Despite what other people on here have said, players continue to re-sign for less money to stay at the club which is massive feather in his cap as well.

Are you implying he moved Moylan without being forced to? Because he literally put a second rower there before trying Moylan.
