For all the Jack Reed haters, an important game.

Let's seee how Tom Opacic goes on the left side.

Greg Eden ... needs crash course in knowing when to hit the ground when tackled.

I don't think I've seen a player driven backwards and sidewards so much in the NRL - atter he's tackled.

What the hell happened there.

One lose pass from Adam Blair, and the game changed completely.

Too many inexperienced forwards dropped their bundle?

Why did we only look like contenders once the game was gone? Suddenly Hunt and Milford sprung to life and started creating some chaos. Have Hunt and Milford become too comfortable, and lost the ability to create?

If the Blues are looking to Roberts to help them in SOO then they'll have to teach him some ball holding skills.
All set for a try last night and decides to fumble the ball forward, undeniable speed but you can't score without the ball.
As for Milford and Hunt neither of them will play SOO before Moses Mbye and by then they'll be too old.
There's a gap looming in the Maroon haflback/ five eight in 2018 but can't see Hunt or Milford there.

That ball was punched out of Roberts hands from behind. But he's nowhere near Origin quality anyway.

That team capitulation was nothing less than pathetic.

Still feel like our forwards are pretty much entirely the problem.
Obviously a few outs at the moment, but the ones there are also under performing.

Sucks that there is another origin to come.

I don't think it's our forwards, it's our entire game plan. We probably have one of the smallest packs in the NRL, yet our game plan is to one out bash and barge. The defence knows exactly who to tackle so they rush up get numbers in and dominate our small forwards. Our only player who is successful is this style is Oates, who isn't even a forward.

The strength of our forwards are in the mobility and ability to offload. Yet we refuse to move the ball around to allow our forwards to use their footwork to get between defenders and potentially offload, preferably to a supporting Milford or Roberts.

We have shown this year that we are good are scoring tries close to the line. Yet when we get penalties we always shoot for goal, which is also a general weakness in our team. The type of team we have needs to win by scoring tries, not kicking goals.

Injuries/Origin certainly doesn't help the matter but can't help but feel it's our game plan. It works early in the season as other teams play conservative too, but now other teams are going up a level in attack and we aren't going with them.

We played exactly how the Bulldogs would have liked us to play. We played to their strengths, not ours.

The pivitol point for me is when all our starter forwards were off and the Bulldogs forwards were just smashing through our defense. When Parker, Mcguire and Wallace came on again it was too late.

Totally agree. This all gets back to our depth. Our depth sucks - considering Brisbane should have one of the biggest recruitment areas.

Just looking at Melbourne playing the Tigers - and they have all these huge, young forwards coming through. Where are our new batch of forwards coming from? Take Parker, Thaiday and McGuire out of the pack, and the step down is significant. And we just don't have the size to play the power game.

We got to the grand final last year playing razzle dazzle - which all but evaporated.

Molo - what's happened to him? Jai Arrow - gets two games and now unseen. Sure we've blooded a few young forwards like Sua and Ese'ese, but we really need to recruit some experienced heads into the forwards - like Frank Paul Nuuasaala who I see has just gone to England.

Mate you are off your head if you want FPN at the broncos. He sucked at the raiders, they were glad to be rid of him.

Fair call. Yes, I believe we paid about $5000/metre for Mr Kennedy, all 120 kg of him.

Martin Kennedy thought taking lots of steroids would make him a good footballer.

Problem was he was a pussy.
