Round 2

f**kinell.
Another round full of surprises. Hull KR win and Saints lose for the second week running. I'd like to know what the odds of that were before the start of the season.
Another draw, a last ditch win to Wigan in the middle of a flood in France and the most comfortable wins we've yet seen this year in probably the two biggest games of the weekend.

Crowd-watch: More good crowds except for Quins which is a real worry a week after they beat the champions.

Table
Bradford 2 2 0 0 54 34 4
Leeds 2 2 0 0 48 30 4
Hull K R 2 2 0 0 31 19 4
Harlequins RL 2 1 1 0 32 24 3
Wakefield 2 1 0 1 38 36 2
Wigan 2 1 0 1 28 32 2
St Helens 3 1 0 2 46 53 2
Warrington 2 1 0 1 36 46 2
Catalans Dragons 2 0 1 1 26 28 1
Salford 2 0 1 1 44 48 1
Hull 2 0 1 1 14 28 1
Huddersfield 3 0 0 3 34 53 0

Bit or a worry for Huddersfield to be pointless from three games. They've got a good squad and should have at least beaten HKR and they'll still be on zero next week. The Robins are the surprise is the top four.

Next week: Bradford v Wigan, Catalans v Leeds, HKR v Quins, Wakefield v Salford, Warrington v Hull

I expected the Bulls to beat Warrington especially as i knew Martin Gleeson and Vinnie Anderson pulled out before the game however i couldn't believe Hull KR and Wakefield both won, amazing stuff.

I can't see Huddersfield remaining in last place though because they have too many good players and with Jones and Fakir to come back for Catalans they will be much stronger too.

Wakey still have Danny Sculthorpe to return and i can't wait to see Rooney running off him, it's looking good.

I don't know how everyone else is going, but my tips are shocking - 5 correct from 12 games. Even taking the 2 draws out, I'm still at 50%

Biggest shock for me is that St Helens are sitting in 7th place at the moment, and will drop even further by the end of Round 3, realistically finding themselves as low as 9th

The only team Saints has beaten is the bottom side. Premiership hangover?
Hull is also winless and has been pretty poor from what I can tell. Shows how important Cooke is to them.
Those were the two teams most people were picking to reach the grand final again. I thought Wire had the next best team on paper and even they couldn't make it back to back wins.
Leeds and Bradford have started the best and look like probably being up there at the end.
Quins will be hot and cold again and Salford might be the same.
HKR and Wakey might be favourites to fight out relegation but if they keep winning the likes of Huddersfield might start to get worried.
Huddersfield shouldn't be too concerned that they have zero points, they're only a couple behind, but they should be concerned with their performances, especially in attack. That was one area they seemed to have imporved in the last few years after being one of the most dour attacking teams you'd ever see. Thorman, Paul and Drew gave them some spark but where has it gone?

Yeah, it's a shock to see St Helens 1 from 3... and KR and Harlequins undefeated after two games. Could be in for a strange season. Again the relegated team could have actually had a half decent season and only go down in a close call?
