ROOSTERS V SHARKS INJURIES Roosters halfback Paul Green is out for a month. Second-rower Adrian Morley is back in three weeks, while Ryan Cross may be back for the finals series. Back-rower Luke Ricketson makes his much-anticipated comeback from a knee injury. Sharks Mat Rogers is not back until next week..
FORM Roosters in the midst of one of their worst slumps in a long time.Sharks are a team full of attacking confidence.
WHO'S ON FIRE Preston Campbell's transition to halfback and he should never play on the wing again.
WHO'S SMOULDERINGRoosters Brad Fittler should have stepped up a gear and led by example, but he has failed to do that. It will happen this week.
HOPEFULL Roosters attack as their best form of defence and pile on the points. The return of tackling maestro Luke Ricketsonwill make the Roosters defensive patterncloser tyo impregnable. I CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT Sharks pile on 50
PREDICTION ROOSTERS by 8 DRAGONS V PANTHERS INJURIES Dragons Willie Peters and Darren Treacy. Panthers Rhys Wesser.
FORM Dragons a 24-point loss to the Cowboys is not much form at all. The Cowboys' win did no favours for the Panthers. WHO'S ON FIRE Scotty Satler as for the rest, not many in either of these sides after last weeks effort.
WHO'S SMOULDERING Paul Macgregor was caught out in defence several times last week as well as being almost non existant in attack.
HOPEFULL Commitment from theDragons forwards. They looked extremelly lethargic last week On their day this side could challenge for the GF.
I CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT Dragons living at the Sydney Football Stadium in 2002.
PREDICTION Dragons by 36.
BULLDOGS V WARRIORS INJURIES Warriors Lafeta Paleaaesina is out for the season. Richie Blackmore is out for another week. Bulldogs Barry Ward will be out for six weeks. Craig Polla-Mounter will take his place. Norton, Lester, Perry and Rauhihi are gone for the year.
FORM The Warriors have tha habit of scoring a try and the opposition would then score.
Bulldogs joined the select list of premiership contenders.
WHO'S ON FIRE Steve Price. Outplayed the Bronco pack in both attack and defence. WHO'S SMOULDERING The Warriors Right-side defence. Stacey Jones has caught out a couple of times this year. Clinton Toopi and Motu Tony defence does not improve the situation and last weeks effort showed.
HOPEFULL The Ericsson Stadium mirror the Wellington crowd.
CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT The Warriors lose and blow their chances of a semi final berth.
PREDICTION Bulldogs by 16.
TIGERS V EAGLES INJURIES Tigers Darren Senter and Lincoln Withers. Eagles Ben MacDougall
FORM Tigers have two wins on the trot. Eagleshot then cold them warm and maybe hot again, who can tell?
WHO'S ON FIRE Ben Galea has displayed rare form since cementing a first grade spot at the expense of esnters injury. WHO'S SMOULDERING Eagles Board.
HOPEFULL Eagles start to hit some form and shrug the off field problems I CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT Hoppa actually playing in the NRL again.
PREDICTION Eagles by 20. STORM V BRONCOS INJURIES Storm Scott Hill. Broncos Scott Prince, Gorden Tallis, Ben Ikin and Phillip Lee, and Shaun Berrigan he will be available in three weeks.
FORM Storm cant tackle last week with the Eels racking up 54 points. Broncos Have fallen third favourites in the race for Competition.
WHO'S ON FIRE Broncos Lote Tuqiri despite limited opportunities last week, he surely must be Queensland's best winger.
WHO'S SMOULDERING Russell Bawden may be heading back to England or possibly Penrith.
HOPEFULL A big crowd to this game, colonial will be a more rugby league friendly stadium with the reconfiguration. Maybe 15 – 20,000
I CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT Broncos + more injuries in the halves.
PREDICTION Broncos by 16 EELS v COWBOYS INJURIES Eels' Jason Taylor is in doubt. Cowboys John Buttigieg for the rest of the season Glenn Morrision and Shipway, Mamando and Doyle.
FORM The Eels are favourites for the premiership no more needs to be said. Cowboys hot and cold, although a great win with a few first grade players out.
WHO'S ON FIRE Ian Hindmarsh and Tim Maddison. WHO'S SMOULDERING John Buttigieg has had a season to forget with injuries and suspension. HOPEFULL Jason Taylor to get the record with seconds left by kicking the winning conversion from the sideline. I CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT Jason Taylor not take the field.
PREDICTION Eels by 16.
Knights v Canberra INJURIES Knights Timana Tahu and Mark Hughes. Raiders too many to list, plenty.at least 7 first gradeplayers.
FORM Knights are not in prime form, and it showed last week struggling to put the warriors away earlier than they did. Raiders must learn that there are 2 halves of football in a game of rugby league.
WHO'S ON FIRE Adam MacDougall’s 4 try effort last week. Raiders, Andrew McFadden is one bright light in lime green. WHO'S SMOULDERING Raiders defense and attack..
HOPEFULL Raiders hit form and put on a performance worth talking about.
I CANT STAND THIS THOUGHT A whitewash, with a cricket score.
PREDICTION Knights by 22. Johnsy

Roosters by 12 (the wet weather will bugger up the sharks)
Dragons by 8 (only because i refuse to pick the panthers away from home)
Bulldogs by 2 (i hope this is a close game...i dont think polly will play johnsy, he has pulled out late the last 2 weeks and i think he is still struggling)
Tigers by 14 (they are on a roll now...dont be surprised if Kevin McGuiness gets a game day call up)
Storm by 6 (come out on fire after being embarrased last week. I think the broncos are on the slide)
Newcastle by 50 (sorry legend, canberra are just plain shocking and against a quality team they will get lapped)
Parramatta by 18 (cowboys might put in for a while, but the forward pack factor will kick in. did anyone here that the eels will be giving out 'goalpost ears' (similar to the bunny ears from sara marie in big brother, just goal posts) should be...um.... interesting) I hear he won't play, but it shouldn't make a lot of difference)
Im still praying for an eels/dogs grandfinal...that would be great
MFC.

Upset of the week.
Melbourne to beat Broncos.
This is grandfinal week for Melbourne. They are a team with some very good players and if they are going to show anything this season it has to be this week. The young players in the broncos team just don't produce the same quality of football when they are away from home, leaving it up to the older players to do the business. I expect a top effort from the Storm and a below par effort from Brissie - that should mean a close game with either a storm win or a Darren Lockyer led come from behind effort from the Broncos.
