I’m in 125 and the Smug offside every set literally every tackle ffs.
Kikau and Yeo were 3 metres offside every tackle mate. For the first half he had us back 11 metres and them back 8. Their second try has been called an obstruction all year. It’s already hard to beat Penrith as it is let alone when you don’t get the rub of the green. Would rather as have had Sutton, Cummins, Butler over Gee.

In saying that Paulo cost us the game we can’t pick him next week. I hope Thompson is over his minor hammy injury.

Also we need T. Burgess back we missed him badly.

Now I can’t stand Penrith after the Roosters they’re my next most hated. Their scum supporters infiltrated all our member bays and the Burrow I heard. No one checking member passes tonight meant anyone could sit where they wanted. We pay massive money for these memberships to sit with our own people. People were in our seats when we got there and intially wouldn’t move no security around to do anything after my Dad told them off they moved.

After minutes when security finally came after full time they eventually escorted the adult Penrith fans that abused Cody children who are our ball boys one of them was in tears meanwhile after being abused verbally and behind me Penrith fans were hoeing into Cody calling him a pathetic weak sook and wanka for defending his kids I told them off! Said hurling abuse at 6 year olds is a low dog act and he’s only defending his kids. I said you’re getting too big for your boots all cocky and arrogant I’d love nothing more than for you guys to be beaten by someone in the big one! I said hang your head in shame mate.

I’m going for a shower then bed. Hard night that was.

That game just well and truly dispelled the myth that you would have won the 2021 GF if Latrell wasn't a grubby scumf**k who got suspended. While he is wonderful with the ball, he is truly a liability without it
Trell saved a couple of tries mate with important tackles if Ta’affe was at the back tonight you’d have won 38-10.

So to cut a long story short, you're Daddy's bigger than ours.

Panthers played well. A bit upset we couldn't get the win with their star halves out but they've still got a great forward pack. Will be a different intensity come finals. I feel bad for Jaxson Paulo. He's a great player who had a bad night but is absolutely copping it.

This finals series really could go anyway. Im not convinced Penrith are unbeatable even with cleary and luai.

big hit!

I wasn't at the match, and a couple here have stated that Penrith were constantly offside (they got pinged once or twice), but geez they brought the heat with line speed and winning a big proportion of play the balls in yardage D. Souths forwards couldn't get metres, and with Penrith controlling the play the ball the next Souths bloke to take a hit up couldn't make an impact either. It was playing out like last years GF. It took some shifts and lethal quick hands to get around it. Like the GF Souths had no right to be in that game. A team with lessor skilled players would've been annihilated.

Obviously, it was errors that lost the match in the end.

Thats exactly how it felt for the first 20 minutes. There were periods where we got a bit of a roll but I think you’ve come up with a fair assessment. What we learnt last night is that if you are being dominated you have to convert all your chances to get the win.

I am beyond friggin angry right now. Probably the most pissed off I've been after a loss this year. When we got to 22-20, I really thought we'd be good enough to hold them out, but we folded. We just f**king folded and handed the game to them. Literally handed it to them on a platter. How the hell did we lose that?

I'll tell you how, Jaxson f**king Paulo. Now I've been willing to give him some slack this year but that's it, I've had enough. He needs to go and go now, an absolute liability in big games. This is going to sound very harsh but he single handedly cost us that game tonight. If he could catch/hold a f**king ball, we win. It's as simple as that. Should have been hooked.

I'm just so god damn angry. really should have won that but once again, we kill ourselves. Once again nothing goes our way and Penrith get it over us. Credit to them, they're a good side but I'm just f**king over it! Hate them so much.

We should be strutting around right now talking about what a great 2 point win it was and all buzzing but no, now we're in a dog fight just to make the 8 again. F**k me!!!
Sadly we needed this loss to make sure we have the right team for the finals. Jaxon runs faster on the trains paddock than he does on the field. Close to the line he has two options, run hard and crash through tackles or get his body in the air and dive for the line. He has developed a habit of stepping in and bracing for the tackle. Thompson in for the rest of the year.

If the Raiders win all their games and we lose the next 2 we miss the 8. Must win next week.

Can’t believe how many excuses South’s fans are making for losing last night against a depleted out fit. But that was an obstruction and they were offside all night.
F—- me you had your chances and didn’t take them. Maybe Latrell should start running the ball back from kick returns rather than belting his chest when he kicks a goal to take the lead.
As for the argument we would’ve won the GF had he played, please.
The only reason South’s got close last night is because we played pretty ordinary. Missing plenty of tackles and not taking opportunities to score more tries when they presented themselves. Liam Martin should’ve scored 3 tries.
Penrith were definitely more physical in the early exchanges and that nullified any chance South’s had. They were extremely lucky to go in at halftime with the scores level.
Just my thoughts, but was a tough hit out for both teams.

Agree, the Raiders have 3 very winnable games for them to finish the season.

We have 2 tough games and need big Tom’s go forward - from the initial injury diagnosis must admit he had missed more game time than expected.
