I think it's best for our team to have GI at fullback and Cody at 6.

If GI needs a break for a few minutes here and there in games then move AJ to fullback.

i agree, but he can't keep being selected at fullback if his knee keeps stuffing up whilst playing there. if he didn't have that knee problem then i'd definitely want GI at fullback

Did GI have knee issues again this weekend? I didn't notice any.
Keary might as well not play now we've nothing to gain with him. We won't get the spoon and I couldn't give a f**k about finishing higher than Easts I would much prefer we just get as much development of players in now.

I think G.Is 'knee issues' aren't as bad as people make out. Everytime he has a quite game he 'has knee issues' crop up. When we lost out in the back end of 2013 it was down to 'knee issues'. In 2014 when he was great all season long and the knee issues weren't mentioned at all. During 2015 he'd have a string of good games, then a couple of quite games and the 'knee issues' pop up, then a couple of good games and suddenly he has overcome his 'knee issues' then a quite game and suddenly they are back. I think something was wrong with G.I in the early rounds, his head seemed elsewhere as shown by the field goal attempt in the dragons game. In rep camps, which seem to be happy and trouble free environments he has no hint of the 'knee issues' and his last few games for us has seen steps towards his usual self

Depends on what the coach wants. In all of the problems i haven't seen much to suggest maguire has a problem with keary. If keary is the best possible option, whether at 5-8th or for a bench utility role then i still think he should be picked. I don't believe we should just give up his position just because someone else will be there next year. That person wanting that position next year needs to step and earn it, not have it given to them. If they can't take Keary spot in the remaining weeks then it will give them extra focus in the off-season, if they take Keary spot fair and square it will give them a feel for what's needed to make that position there own into the future. If they are just gifted the position because keary isn't going to be there the complacency may creep in over the off-season. Even though we aren't really praying for anything i stil think we should be fielding the best teams possible, if that includes keary in the 17 then so be it
