Katoa’s service has generally been sublime. He gets our forwards going forward way better than Egan. He has a decent short kicking game and a lot of tricks around the ruck. He is also a bigger body.

We have won plenty of games with Katoa starting at hooker.

I doubt we win any games with Egan starting.

More evidence that Gus’s hiring and firing decisions are becoming worse and worse.

Mansour’s defensive deficiencies were evident in the first few rounds of the season before he was injured. We conceded most of our points down his side in both the Eels and Souths games.

Our defence down his side then improved dramatically once we had reserve grade wingers in his place.

He is back and we are again leaking points down his wing.

The only game plan you need to beat us at the moment is go forward and spread the ball through the hands to Mansour’s wing and more than 50% of the time you’ll get outside of him. That’s all the Knights had to do.

Okay, I stopped laughing and read the rest. You really think that (a) we would have won tonight with Katoa instead of Egan and (b) you think we will win against the Storm next week with Katoa, but not with Egan?

He played the full 80 but wasn't very good. Neither of them are very good. We need a 9 desperately.

Feel free to criticise me. But you aren’t engaging with the content. Katoa’s problem generally has been his decision making later in halves if he tires.

Before the Knights game his service was sensational. Really excellently timed bullets.

I have never seen Egan deliver the same kind of service.
