We were hammered by Penrith and were disappointing vs Dogs at home.

Thank the Lord that the Knights got done by the Sharks in Golden Point tonight. If they had won they would have been 2 points behind us and they have 3 reasonably easy remaining games. We have breathing space now but need to win two more to be certain of playing semis footy.

It's 2 wins regardless now.. there are so many teams that can still sneak into 8th spot (including the knights).. its very surprising, they all play eachother etc.. lets see if we can break the trend at home next week.. just making the 8 is like a finals series in itself.

Great win for the team today. Now we are more than 50% chance of making finals. If we win 2 out of 3 we should either finish 7th or 8th. I think we can beat both Eels and Raiders. On paper we are better than those two.
If we finish 7th we will most likely face Manly.
If we finish 8th we will most likely face Bulldogs.
The other bottom 8 team will most likely be Cowboys, but chance of us facing Cowboys is near zero as they will finish 7 or 8th.
We are a better chance of beating Manly than Bulldogs (I will say 50 50)
If we beat Manly then we will come against either Roosters or Penrith and that will be the end of the season for us.

I hope this happens too. This would likely mean we’d finish 4th and I’m f**ken sick of the bulldogs hysteria. No doubt they are playing solid football, but everyone seems to forget the absolute leg ups they’ve been given get to where they are.
