Unpopular opinion perhaps, but I felt the try could’ve been scored on the inside. But Cleary was relentless in getting to the ball.
Yeah, I feel like he could have passed it RCG. JAC was coming across but I doubt he could have stopped RCG one on one that close to the line.

Regardless I love the effort Cleary puts in and I'd be stoked to keep him. It's just paying him a million dollars + that I'd be a wary about so I hope he asks for something like $800,000 at the max.

There were two, but one of them was on the back foot. I’m nitpicking of course , just felt it was the smarter play.

Valid point, but the concentration of play was going in Blake's direction. Good instinctive play off the cuff by Cleary there which is a good indication that we are back in form. We will need to improve on the discipline and the dumb plays in our game.

The one where you said they were a reserve grade side?
Thats right Froggy, the Storm side missing Slater, Munster, NAS, Vunivalu, Chambers and a couple of others. There is not much to dispute that their side was a long way off their strongest and effectively reserve grade strength. Not sure why your knickers are in a knot over it.

I ended the same post by mentioning the improvement from prior weeks - which I think has been your point.
I just don't believe we should be getting ahead of ourselves based on a win against a severely depleted Storm. Particularly if results go our way and we end up 4th with a repeat match against them next week, but including most of the guys that missed last night.

Sorry if you feel like I'm raining on your parade. Actually no I'm not.

THE RESERVE GRADE IS ON CHANNEL 9.

Wade Egan wasn't dropped to reserves, Katoa was dropped to first grade so we win the ISP game.

I know it was hyperbole but not many reserve grade sides have the likes of Cam Smith, Addo-Carr, Finucane, Hoffman, Bromwich, Scott. It was a top notch side with a few outs. Keep it a bit more accurate and you won't need to be picked up on things like this.

And if Penrith can win games without a plethora of stars out, like they were doing during the first half of the season, then why can't the Storm?!?

A win is a win. Happy we won last night.
We have something to build on for next week.
