Simple equation this week.

Win- top 4 Finnish and second chance in the finals.

Lose- top 8 Finnish and sudden death finals.

Hope Segs returns. We could use some of his dynamic runs from dummy half.

Warriors struggle away from home and we do seem to play well against them.

I never hope we lose, and was gutted after yesterday, but it may be for the best. I'd rather play Manly in the first week than Souths or the Roosters. If we can't beat the Warriors next week, then we'll likely drop 4 in a row and bow out meekly.

Yep. Exactly. Them at Allinaz. Us with Seg, Latimore, Simmons back we would be confident after yesterday's performance.

listened to Ivan's presser, said that Sege was back this week.

really hope we pull a big one on sunday night for this game, a sellout would be outstanding, big repercussions for both teams will result at the end of this game, hopefully there's as many Panther fans there we can fit in going beserk for the lads.

I'm a Tigers fan, but watching the game I thought, that again another poor refereeing mistake cost Panthers the game.

Did anyone else notice the knees to the head, which caused Jamal to juggle the ball & hand possesion back to Manly? I am referring to the Jamie Lyon try in the 77min where Manly score from the very next set.

Jamal remained on the ground clutching his melon. Why don't the officials pick this up - especially with so many eyes & cameras?

The NRL bang on about player welfare & clamp down on certain aspects of the game, but sliding & leading with knees or coming in late with knees is a cheap shot. They need to stamp this out.

What should have been a penalty to Pathers, results in a scrum feed to Manly - I think 15m out?

Yep. Couldn't believe it when it happened. The week before Latimore gets penalized & then suspended for much less.

Oh well swings and roundabouts. He was a whistle happy ref and there was 19000 vocal fans at Brookie on a Sunday afternoon. Not surprising we came off second best. I'd definitely be confident of taking round 2 with Seg and co back on neutral turf.

I had a problem with this call from the outset, and although its not all that clear, close scrutiny of what was offered on Nine reveals that some part of Tom Symonds almost certainly came in contact with Jamal's noggin. It's not his knees though I don't think, its higher up on the leg or maybe even the torso. I'm also not so sure he actually lost it, but he certainly claimed to have been hit high, which was completely ignored by the refs.

Of course by this time the refs were absolutely wetting themselves trying to find ways of helping Manly win the game.

Docker Grade 1 Dangerous Throw, 159 points plus 80 carry over. 2 weeks out whether contested or not. I can't see the point of contesting it to be honest.

He needs a spell anyway. Since Taylor went down he's picked up a bit of workload and it's effecting his game.

Is it worth playing an extra prop like Anderson who can play big minutes for Docker? Who's left in the backrow? Won my Soccer GF yesterday and went on a bender so I haven't watched the Manly game yet.

How has VTK been playing? Haven't seen any if his games this year. He might be the go to replace Docker. Potentially brings a bit of X factor into the backrow to replace what we are missing with the 3 guns injured.
