Yes they do. Robinson from the Roosters has named JWH to start both weeks only to bench him 1 hour before kick-off. He will probably do the same this week.
Bellamy has played mind games with naming injured players successive weeks. Only to not play them.
I recall Mastercoach Wayne Bennett naming Kodi Nikorima at hooker a few years back only to shift Corey Parker to hooker before Kick-off.

Unless they are doing a Brian Smith and are making 7 changes I couldn't care less.
