Can Brisbane finally break their 13 game losing streak against the last side they were able to beat?

Walters has named the same 17 as last week's disappointing performance against the Titans. Tom Dearden has been training at halfback and hooker so don't be surprised to see him come into the team.

Last week the Broncos didn't give themselves an opportunity and let the game slip in a horror 7 minute period. If they can go set to set with the Bulldogs they'll give themselves as good an opportunity as any to finally win a game.

If they do lose, you'd have to think there will be some major changes, particularly in and around the spine position.

Flegler is promising but I don’t think there’s too much up stairs....like Isaako, he’s good for 2/3 basic errors every game.

Finally a win. It was against a team initially playing just as bad or even worse than us but a win is a win. After bagging Carrigan last week he had a better game but it would be great if he could go one game without dropping the ball. Playing Carrigan in two bursts seems better than him playing the whole game.

Isaako still has a few errors in him but he had a great second half tonight and hopefully he can follow that up week to week. I think the Croft experiment isn't working and he looks clueless in attack and sold the dump to both Riki and Bullemor with hospital passes. He looks to be a 7 that can't play what is in front of him. He was obviously fresh but Dearden looked a step above Croft for the small amount of time he was on.

So far Mead has performed ok and better than I expected on the wing and Rhys Kennedy looks to be a big raw thing and will only get better with more time on the field. Pangai seems to be adjusting to his role at prop better with each game but when Haas and Lodge come back I'm hoping he can go back to a wide running second rower where he is much more destuctive in attack.

We will get brought back to Earth with a thump next week but gee it feels good to get a win for a change.

Like the first half against the Eels when we can actually hang onto the ball we look good. If we put down as much ball as we did in the first half against the Dogs the Storm will put 30+ on us.

By god was that first 60 minutes the worst ever advertisement for rugby league.

The final 20 was only better in that the passes stuck for one team.

Hopefully they take some confidence from the last quarter if nothing else.

It was one of the worst games of Rugby League you may ever see but it was never going to go from being horrificly shit to turning in a complete 80 minute performance. That's not it works when you are down on confidence.

Hopefully they take something from the game into Melbourne next week.
