You can’t keep losing quality players like we have been forced to endure and not expect it to bite us on the bum eventually.

Our two most influential players out I’m not surprised by what happened tonight.

It was painful to watch but we need a reality check, the expectations from some have been unrealistic.
The season is far from over, but we need our spine back. That is obvious. No Nathan, no Dylan no top four and perhaps no top 8. That’s the reality.
Don’t be to depressed.

Thanks for you reality check. As a fan base we've had a wonderful 5 years, and hope against hope there is still more to come.

Ivan was extremely honest in his presser tonight too.

Your right Nathan Yeoy and Pickles need to be injury free for us to do well in the finals.

Here's tonight's presser.

If i was penrith id throw heaven and earth at jack cogger to come back asap.

He was easily the best of the 3 nath replacements weve had..

Hes maybe not an nrl quality starter. But hes a solid back up. Hes a reliable guy. He turned the tide in the gf.

Schnieder im sorry is rubbish.

Trent T i think has great attack and vision(didn't get to show that tonight with 15% ball)... but he is quality with ball in hand. His defence is just not great.

Cole is to young, raw and injury prone and his attack is clueless.

I saw more from Talagi in attack last week then any half that has replaced nath or luai in the last 6 years. He digs into the line a speed. His vision was brilliant. But hes raw and needs time in cup.

Of the club has some free coin get jack cogger back.

If naths fit id run him at 6 amd cole in 14.

When talagi is ready id run him at 6 and cole/cogger at 14..

Ivan didn’t think it was necessarily any single players fault, he blamed himself for not being able to get the side into a rhythm, then falling apart early.

Over in the South’s camp, Cody noted the kick chase was good and the attention to detail was there.

There was mentions of the Panthers winning the second half, but there’s no prizes for that at the start of the next game. It’s a bit mythical.

Ivan says four games, four new experiences, but the side not yet primed.

Then he mentions round 4, I think it’s biting a bit struggling.

But the game is done, so the only thing he can do is try to squeeze out stuff he can use for the next game.

It might be good for a change up in training, go on an excursion. Knock the side into gear.

Yeo and Kenny had clanger forward passes too.

Something wasn't right. Way too many players went well under the bar set last week.

Exactly, blaming the depth isn't the go here.

hence why I put this side currently at rock bottom. Everyone looks down on confidence to miss the start like that something is at play.

Only they can fix it

Schneider scored a try, but still clueless in First Grade. Had plenty of opportunities out there to create more tries when the possession swung our way.
Laurie was Souths best player out there last night, and looked like he was still unfit. A mystery why Talagi didn’t play 1.

Leota looks like the talented, careless player that used to piss me off endlessly circa 2018.
Whenever he has to “step up” he seems to crumble. Make it clear smith is the new forward leader and take the pressure off him, I would bench him

blame the refs all you want but we let 28 points in the first half. Dropped ball, stupid penalties given (Garner hands on the face after making a tackle) just really stupid discipline that fell shockingly short of the standards we've kept this decade.

this team is rocks and diamonds at the moment- how do you concede 28 in the first half and then 0 in the second - just baffling this team at times.

we've had 3 category 1 HIA's in the first 10 mins in 3 games this year - thats got to be a record - we just getting hammered with HIA's.

ill give Laurie a chance next week if Nathan is back, but he's gone in 2025 if this is what he produces, Milky outplayed laurie at FB last week and we can all agree Milky was poor at times defensively.

its really shitting me that this team is falling into big game mentality - Souths & Chooks we were heavy favourites to win and we've just rocked up and shit the bed, but against Sharks & Storm we've competed for the full game.

im concerned with senior players in the team not stepping up and helping Yeo with leadership - Martin, Tago, Kenny & Leota - all stalwarts of this era - no Nathan or Dylan - those boys should be stepping up and showing how its done, get involved for the 80, not this in and out of the game BS

shockingly, this team's best can still win the comp this year - but this year our best and worst is so far apart its diabolical.

I know Ivan took blame in the presser.

I won't argue a few things, Like seemingly being under prepared is on him.

Senior guys also need to do the same.

This was as dumb as Henrys penalty but in fairness to him, Arrow did it all game as well (fair play to him for not getting penalised).

And this place is back to flailing nonsense. Not too concerned yet, definitely nothing wrong with Tago and Leota.

Garner's lack of physicality is a problem. Toelau and Laurie were disappointing but they're not in the best 17. We need to get fit and settled, and get Blaize in the team, it's all in a shroud at present.

I'm not buying this blaize is still young and raw bullshit. He was good at parra and was one of our best against the storm.Theres something going on here, why did you buy the bloke. He needs to be in first grade and a starter whether that is at 6 or 1 hes better than most of the blokes last night.Everyone talking about his defence what about tago the turnstile.Id be dropping tago and kenny, the service from dummy half was slow shit and how many forward passes has he thrown this yr.
