Round 7 V Sharks

Yeah I doubt he'd be out golfing if he couldn't play this week. He might be a bigger in than Moylan at this point when you consider their form. Peachey is the one guy we have atm who can destroy defensive lines from nothing.

I've gone a bit cold on him at centre.

His defensive reads aren't the best but worse than that his selfish play is annoying. He's bombed a few tries by not passing to Blake.

Much like Cartwright he needs to learn when to be selfish and when to pass, Cartwright obviously is the opposite & passes too much.

And Blake is a huge talent to be just left out in the cold like is being done to him.

I love him at centre tbh. He creates a lot more chances out of nothing than he bombs by not passing(one this year?). He has a bit to learn about playing centre but he hasn't even done a full season there yet. As far as his defence goes he has been pretty solid except the Melbourne game. Whare had some very poor defensive reads last week, it happens. Peachey is by far our most destructive centre imo. Imagine him after a full year playing centre, I love Blake as well but I wouldn't move Peachey for him if it was my choice. Peachey needs to play 80. Melbourne obviously targeted Peach and shut him down and we had all that ball and scored 6 points, says it all.

Passing is intergral to centre play though, it's not like he's failing at a minor thing.

He's bombed at least 2 very obvious tries by not passing. It's not just the obvious ones though, remember you have a unique talent in Waqa Blake outside him, someone who is physically very different to Peachey & could create different opportunities. He must pass more.

Anyway it's an interesting situation because Blake is a much better centre than winger.

Blake was getting just as little ball playing outside Whare. Peach had more try assists last season than Whare did in his last full season, he can certainly improve but it's not like he refuses to pass the ball. We are a team that scores off the back of momentum, we have struggled to score against set defensive lines and so much of our momentum up the field comes from peacheys breaks and half breaks. Id love for him to be a more willing passer but even how he is we are much better off with him in the centres than not. He's currently leading all nrl centres for metres, line breaks and tackle breaks. So he is creating a shitload of chances and momentum for us. If he makes a small improvement over the course of this year he will be the best centre in the game.

We will win, we won 10 in row last year playing Flanno ball.

This is again how we will win, you blokes spill the pil too much.

The sacking etc do not help...this will show. The pressure will produce penalties and dropped pil.

Three years ago the Titans led the comp outright after 6 rounds, before finishing 14th. There is a very long way to go. I am confident we will turn our season around this week with a strong win over the Sharks.
Living in the past indeed.

Just saying we are under no pressure to win.

All your blokes are, especially the sack ones.

We will show up and play, you blokes will try to win with dodgy plays and drop the pil..

At your best you can beat anyone, but you wont be.

We'll play our best game of 2017 so far on sunday. Hook might not have many technical coaching abilities but dropping Moylan will have the desired effect

The Premiers are always under pressure, that is why no team has gone back to back since the 90's. Newcastle have a better chance to win this year.

Like to see us get the mongrel out and take the agro out on the sharks. Far too often we are not seen as an overly aggressive side. That is what it will take to put the Sharks into their shell.

I have nothing but horrible memories playing the sharks. As a kid we would drive down to their crappy stadium, i think it was gray and raining every time, we would get robbed and then it felt like a 10 hour drive back to Penrith land.
Hopefully we can turn it around and start to inflict these memories on a generation of sharks supporters with a win this weekend.

Angry be stirring cause he is worried deep down.
Every team that plays the defending premiers always lifts.
The drums are beating louder the Sharks are worried they are playing a team desperate for a win.
They had a energy sapping match last week and will take its toll on their ageing pack.
The mood is a little darker now that Bird is leaving.
More than few Panther players have points to prove.

lets bring the mongrel back and flatten Gal & co.

What's the go with seating at Penrith? Is it all paid stand seats or are there free seats as well as the standing areas on the hill??
I assume street parking if you are early enough, otherwise in the parking areas on the surrounding fields.
Thank you for any info.

Nice fast track favours the younger, more mobile forward pack and the side with the second phase as well. Last week's quagmire in Melbourne might as well have been 6 months ago.

The Eastern stand is general admission from around the 30 metre lines. Parking can be had in the nearby swimming pool or shopping centre, but you'd have to be very early in both cases. They have paid parking in the Showground and Howell Oval as well.

There is also stacks of free parking across the road from the stadium in Panthers car park.
