Round 8 v Eels

I'm kinda excited to see Carty back at 5/8, I know it's not the long term solution but it certainly worked well last season

It worked well because Moylan did most of the playmaking.

In effect the main benefit today is less confusion amongst the halves as to who should be controlling the play.

Yeah potentially it will simplify things which might be what we need, at the moment could be a case of too many cooks.

I like Moylan and I know many here want him at 5/8 but I think he's been pretty poor this season, I think he's trying too hard and overplaying his hand, he's made a number of poor decisions over recent weeks. If this trend continues it's a worry given his ball playing/decision making is his major strength which makes up for his deficiencies in terms of a general lack of elite physical traits (speed, strength, etc.), kick returns, etc.

These f**king forwards better aim up. I just cant understand brown and leota over kikau and Sitaleki

Both played massive minutes and had huge workloads. Kikau just burst through for a try after playing probably close to 60 minutes.
Good try. He's an impact player. I'm sure he'll get another go before the season is out but it seems to me the coach is currently more interested in bolstering the side's defence.

Langi never to play first grade. He was dire out there today. And why did it take 65 minutes for Penrith to decide to play some football?

Anyway hopefully the u 20's can salvages some pride.

Yeah Hiku in the forward pack, Cartwriggt at half, Moylan left at fullback... looks like he is very concerned about our defence.

All those guys are defensive liabilities. Especially in those positions

Peachy will be on the bench Blake to the centre and Hiku on the wing

I'm guessing with Browne it is just to have a reliable forward. He's made 47 tackles so far this year and missed just 1. At least that's what I think.

I just heard on triple m that TMM has been dropped.... if this is true the pressure is starting to tell on the coach.
I'm not of the opinion that we sack our coach but if TMM IS OUR WORST PROBLEM i must have been watching something very very different from our coach the last 5 weeks.
