Round 8 vs Sharks

Both sharks tries are lucky. First could easily have been ruled double movement, second should have been a panthers scrum as flash knocked the ball out of segeyaros hands into segeyaros body toward our line.

Panthers will lose because we cant turn possession into points and we let in soft tries.

Shattered.

Don't know what I'd do going forward.

That refereeing was questionable, and that's all I'm going to say.

We didn't deserve to win, gifting them too much ball. Nonetheless that was three tries disallowed, all of them contentious at least. The obstruction rule is a lottery, nothing more and nothing less. Maybe they should ban decoy runners altogether inside the opposition 20.

It's the same every week we dominate possession early on but don't score enough. 2nd half when it evens out we struggle

Here is our second-half scoring this season:

R1: 24, against a severely depleted Knights
R2: 7
R3: 8
R4: 6
R5: 4
R6: 0
R7: 2
R8: 8

Therein lies the problem. Well, that and all the dropped balls. And checking Simmons' foot in touch.

Thought Peachey went well, Whare as well, one bad flick pass aside. Wallace was directionless (poor kick near the end into touch when we were leading, too), and Soward was good in defense, the invisible man in attack.

We will have to make hay during the Origin period, when we will lose no-one. If we don't, and we are still hovering at 50%, I can see us not making the 8.

We arent going to win games with such a small pack. We should have won that game but every 50/50 went against us. Not that it should have mattered. Our pack is too soft with Segs, Kingston and Peacher sharing the field at once. Thrown in Docker and its just too small.playing above their weights is one thing, but not having weight to throw around is costing us. If we don't have Mansour and Idris we are going nowhere fast.

Peach can't be in the team until Kingston is gone. He has to come in for Docker or Segs and to not have 3 90kg forwards on at once.

I am sick and f**king tired of these referee's.

We have a $1 billion product being run by a bunch of $1 store f**kwits.

They check the video ref if a guy sneezed on a player yet you don't go for the one where Simmons batted the ball back?

And then the obstruction. Piss off. Wade Graham commits to the decoy before the pass was thrown. He milked the shit out of that and it was awarded a try in last nights game.

Consistency FMD....

outside of that imo Whare was excellent, stupid pass aside. He's really imo is in the top 5 centres in the world easily.

Yep. We can forgive today because of the Taylor injury, in which case you just have to make do, but a forward pack of Latimore, Segeyaro, Plum, Docker, Peachey, and Kingston all playing at the same time is....a recipe for being dominated (did they all play at the same time today though? Not sure). No wonder we don't see Segeyaro taking control of the game; we put him on just as we weaken our pack enough to let the opposition gain parity or an advantage.

agree with you Mick, I'm normally pretty level headed when it comes to decisions in games but this season is a dead set joke, If Cleary doesn't absolutely lose his shit in the post match i'll be surprised and if he does i'll chip in for the 10k

When Taylor went off we missed him bigtime - Whare played great.
Geez I hate the bloody sharks and there smug supporters
Hopefully not the start of a table slide -
Knew the Sharks would lift but really thought when Carney went off we should have won
Got a bad feeling a panthers style table slide may be on the way - particularly if Taylor doesn't come back for a while.
