I never thought i'd say this but I'd rather Maranta on the wing ahead of Reed, hopefully with Kahu on the other.

Reed just seems to be named at centre, and they switch around so Copley plays most the game there. In attack anyway

Yeh it's a tough one with Reed. He works his ass off to be in the side and has earned the place I guess. But I just feel there is a bit more quality out there and he might be better off at another club...

Apparently he has been dropped by Bennett. Seems he rates some other players more highly. I am sure some of our more seasoned contributors have a different opinion to Super Coach Wayne.

Super Coach Bennett isn't afraid to make tough selection decisions based on current issues. Incumbency isn't a guarantee with WB - so if Copley is dropped there may be some underlying issues that we the public don't know about.

One thing is for sure - it's not Copley's defence that's the problem because that's been top shelf. You could only give his attack a pass mark - not as outstanding as some games last year.

Personally, I have to say that Copley on the wing and Oates on the bench would have given the team a bit more balance rather than the three front rowers on the bench now.
