I'd guess under the American convention is the home teams are the second listed?

So Raiders are playing at/@ Wildcats home ground etc...

You think so bart? Its the first time I've seen it done that way. Anyway, I need to know for the tipping comp.

Yeah, I thought that was why you needed it cleared up.

I'm just going off the old NFL boradcasts, where they always talk about fixtures like "next is Seahawks at Raiders" etc...

And scrolling down to the play-offs on http://www.amnrl.com/schedule/index.html, the usual home advantage that you'd expect is listed in that same format.

Cultural differences, eh?

Yes, in the US, the home team is typically listed second, i.e Axmen @ Slayers is a home game for the Slayers.

Willow the problem is that you have the "at" under the first team. I know you were planning on putting the Venue there but it looks like the first team is playing AT the second team.
I would suggest that we replace the "vs" with "at", this way we will all know which team is "at" the home teams ground.

I can 't replace the "vs" with "at". The tipping program is designed with our NRL, NSWRL, AFL, and Cricket comps in mind. The AMNRL is a welcomed addition.

But its all good. The tips page is pretty clear now.

Look at round 2.

It says:

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Home teams are first, away teams are second.

Match: Home Team v Away Team

I have adjusted the team first and second accordingly.

Is that OK?

This is confusing. I've just checked my tips from last week and I lost a couple of right ones because I thought I'd tipped one team when I had in fact tipped the other. No one in their right mind would have knowingly tipped the Eagles to win. Drat, drat and triple drat. Can't we just see them as first team is home, second team is away? Take away the at and display the teams as per normal. Round one has Fairfax Eagles at Washington DC Slayers so of course I went for the home win only to find Fairfax were due to be at home. Agggh

I agree - previously we didn't know. That's exactly how it is being done in the tipping comp from round two onwards.
Re my previous post ^^
