Who's confident of victory on Thursday?
To me, it seems like the Storm players are not as fit as our are? Some looked gassed by half time.Storm back up from a loss well. Bellamy demands nothing less than perfect so we'll cop it after what they did Vs eels.
I agree. It is a short turn around too. DWZ is a lazy defender, who as we both know, has a history with these sorts of things. I am pleased he is a former panther.Nathan needs to be rested. Concussion and CTE isn't to be messed with. Look at Cordner and Friend. Can't walk on to a football field now without getting rocked. No reason to take a risk with brain injury when we have the best back up half in the entire comp.
Earlier on he was more inclined to get this sort of hit than give it, but he's got lazy over time. It looked similar to the Ramien one last week which was graded Careless grade 1. Maybe not quite as bad.I agree. It is a short turn around too. DWZ is a lazy defender, who as we both know, has a history with these sorts of things. I am pleased he is a former panther.

I disagree. If it was accidental, he would have checked to see if Nathan was okay, instead he went for the ball. DWZ is a grub, and I am pleased he is a former panther.DWZ Also appears to have a short fuse too. This isn't his first incident with swinging arms in tackles. Match review will br fascinating.
PS I do think yesterdays was accidental, I don'r think there was intent by his reaction after the hit.
I just watched it again. He definitely is subdued and has a few words to Nathan. Judging his body language it would've been an apology since he wasn't being aggressive or pumped up after the hit.I disagree. He still went for the ball first. DWZ is not a rookie, and he has prior history with regards to this. He needs to rein it in.I just watched it again. Seems a bit extreme. Especially Martin, He played 50 minutes both games so far while providing great impact off the bench. I'd have Burton for Cleary.Burton in, Momo out. I'd also look at starting Martin over Capewell
I expect Burton will be in the 6 or 7. Under the concussion guidelines it is impossible to return in under 6 days if a concussion has occurred. This game is a blockbuster but the two points aren't so critical we would risk our star playmaker.Burton in, Momo out. I'd also look at starting Martin over Capewell
Based on the hit and the fact he was down for a bit he would've been brought off either by the club for a HIA test or the independent doctor. There was no way he could avoid it.I believe Cleary passed all his post game cognitive tests and should be fine to play Thursday.
They probably just brought him off for an early mark, as the outcome of the game was not an issue.
All Cubs are taking advantage of HIA rules, see it happening pretty much each and every game, in most instances it involves forwards.
He also banged his head on the ground. You look at him laying on the ground he looked pretty stunned to me. I can't imagine how he could play under the protocols. It means we lose half our spine but that's footy.Based on the hit and the fact he was down for a bit he would've been brought off either by the club for a HIA test or the independent doctor.
