Im sure ivan will keep us 1-17 this week. Hopefully Nathan is ok. Dwz honestly should receive at least 3 weeks for that. If it was Jack he'd be sidelined for half the season. Almost took his head off.

Boys will need to learn from gf and rd 1 game storm vs buns. If we aren't switched on storm will blow us off the park in the first 30. Bellamy doesn't often lose 2 on the trot. Storm will be fired up.

Nathan needs to be rested. Concussion and CTE isn't to be messed with. Look at Cordner and Friend. Can't walk on to a football field now without getting rocked. No reason to take a risk with brain injury when we have the best back up half in the entire comp.

I agree. It is a short turn around too. DWZ is a lazy defender, who as we both know, has a history with these sorts of things. I am pleased he is a former panther.

Earlier on he was more inclined to get this sort of hit than give it, but he's got lazy over time. It looked similar to the Ramien one last week which was graded Careless grade 1. Maybe not quite as bad.

Edit: Sorry Ramien got Reckless grade 1, which is 400 points base.

DWZ Also appears to have a short fuse too. This isn't his first incident with swinging arms in tackles. Match review will br fascinating.

PS I do think yesterdays was accidental, I don'r think there was intent by his reaction after the hit.

I disagree. If it was accidental, he would have checked to see if Nathan was okay, instead he went for the ball. DWZ is a grub, and I am pleased he is a former panther.

I just watched it again. He definitely is subdued and has a few words to Nathan. Judging his body language it would've been an apology since he wasn't being aggressive or pumped up after the hit.

He still went for the ball first. DWZ is not a rookie, and he has prior history with regards to this. He needs to rein it in.

Unchanged for mine.

Burton for Cleary if injured obviously. I'm 99% sure he will play as Korisau is sidelined.

Looking forward to seeing how we take on the challenge. Far from our best against two very ordinary teams. We may just step up a gear against the Storm.

I believe Cleary passed all his post game cognitive tests and should be fine to play Thursday.

They probably just brought him off for an early mark, as the outcome of the game was not an issue.

All Cubs are taking advantage of HIA rules, see it happening pretty much each and every game, in most instances it involves forwards.

Based on the hit and the fact he was down for a bit he would've been brought off either by the club for a HIA test or the independent doctor. There was no way he could avoid it.

He also banged his head on the ground. You look at him laying on the ground he looked pretty stunned to me. I can't imagine how he could play under the protocols. It means we lose half our spine but that's footy.
