Hope he was looking down proud at the Other "Rowdy" today.
RIP Roddy
One of my biggest regrets as a fan was not being alive during his pre-WWF run. Watching the odd snippit here and there highlights how talented he was and why he's so revered in the wrestling business. Sadly by the time I was watching, Roddy's character was nothing more than a raving lunatic, having a whale of a time with his (psychotic) friend, The Nature Boy.
With Roddy gone, begs the question of who is left from that great era? Hulk, Million Dollar Man, Jake the Snake, Ricky Steamboat..
Must be 5 dead to everyone still ticking.
One of the Road Warriors, Ric Flair, Sting, Tully Blanchard, Arn and Ole Anderson, Harley Race, Magnum TA, Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, they're all still around.
