Was reading an old copy of Harry Edgar's "Open Rugby" magazine from February 1978, and came across a couple of comments from some dear RU friends:

Dr D Craven, Sth African RU chief said:
"Anyone connected, in any way, with rugby league is a reptile"

Fran Cotton, English RU international and captain at the time:
"Rugby league is a dying game"
30 years latter where still here.

Can you believe these clowns are allowed to get away with such tripe.

Fran cottons dad played rugby - as did Fran until he was sent to a union school.
