Rugby and golf set for 2016 Olympic Games

BERLIN — Rugby sevens and golf are set to appear at the 2016 Olympic Games after an International Olympic Committee (IOC) executive board vote on Thursday. The whole IOC membership will vote on their final recommendation in Copenhagen in October.

We should see some traditional rugby countries other than South Africa & Fiji take 7's seriously.

This is huge news for Fiji. 7's is basically their national sport. The chance of Olympic gold will raise the bar even further.
