Rugby Australia to target top NRL talent

The only way he’ll touch the ball is if he’s the one feeding the scrums.

Rugby is delusional if they think he’s their savour, though I must admit, they are getting their moneys worth with all the click bait stories.
Funny thing is though, everyone knows where he comes from and this putting him up on pedestal so quickly by union is inadvertently making League look by far the biggest show in town.

Would this whole Suaallii saga be such of a big deal if he was on normal money ? Like 800k or that ball park. Surely it’s the insane money, that’s usually reserved for the top 1% in either code, that got people interested.

Plenty of high profile league players have swapped without anyone caring, so why does a slightly above average centre get so many clicks ?

Just wait until Izzy Folaou starts hooking him into his social media posts.
I was thinking about that this morning, union must be holding their breath dreading he`s going to start associating himself too much with Folau. What a disaster that would be.
Worth remembering the kid comes from an Islander background, socially very conservative and also went to Kings, as much as they like to present themselves as progressive, they are hotbeds of right-wing ratbags. Have had first-hand experience with a nephew of mine.

Because RU in Australia are extremely desperate for any media coverage at all. A few articles here and there have them frothing with excitement as their hands do the crazy eights under the board room table.

Isn’t it beautiful that Suallii is openly talking about Folau being his idol and his mentor….
And I see that the mud rakers have found that Suallii also ‘liked’ the infamous post of Folau’s that got him into all that trouble…. Just beautiful…. Great work son…. The ARU must be delighted

looking back Folau's social media commentary got more media coverage for Australian Rugby Union than anything he did on the field

The 6 mil they have given him is comparable to the NRL paying 50 million for someone
