Woo hoo!

The start of the super 12 with heaps of games this weekend. Just me, my family, my high definition wide screen, my foxtel digital and a drink.

A free ticket to the Reds game tomorrow night, followed by Six Nations into the weeee hours. What could be better????

I know. A lunch with John Eales tomorrow! (Well, there'll be a couple of hundred of other people there too).

:D :D :D :D

I'd better get to bed to save up some energy........

Watched the Waratahs v Chiefs on pay TV,as one of the commentators stated it wasnt pretty.
Rogers involved in all tries,Tuqiri,Turinui were the standouts,if Rogers hadnt of been there hell i dread to think.
The Chiefs played like a pub side, and the atmsophere on TV was so quiet ,until either Rogers or Lote got the ball. They had better remain on the field,as the rest of the Waratahs generally lacked creativity.
Nathan Grey is going to Japan at the end of the season, judging by his contribution for the time he was on,he is better off thousands of kms away.
The Auckland Blues played the way it should be played against the Highlanders.

Poor old GREY looks past his best. He has a shocker. ROGERS had a blinder but his goal kicking was as good as mine.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Reds don't have as big a turnout tonight as they think they might get.

Even though I've got a free ticket I'm thinking twice about going as I'll miss the live Brumbies game and then wouldn't be able to see it til tomorrow 11.30am.

The Blues game had everything in it . The defence from both teams was great you can hear it miles away .
Mapusua should be in Blacks colour by the end of the year .
Chiefs are not the same without Miller , Randell and should have start Lauaki .
Does anyone know what was the crowd in the Blues/Hinglanders and the Chiefs/Waratahs ?
Stomers game against the Sharks had over 48,000 .

Someone else is using my ticket.

Great lunch yesterday.

Found out that Joeys will be going to Fiji a few weeks after Marist Ashgrove and it will be a second yearly thing, with Fiji coming to play the two schools in Australia on the alternate years.

Better dig up my grass skirt as I'm off to Fiji soon!

The crowd was around twenty thousand, great atomisphere.

Mapusua shouldin't be an All Black, he is still a bloody ball hog. When he does pass he passes to a player in a poor position. Tuitavake is a better prospect.

The Reds game was sold out before the game. I know people that were turned away 2 hours before the game so there would have been lots more disappointed.

I wasn't disappointed that I didn't go as it was a snorefest, with both teams trying to outdo each other with mistakes and lost ball and the Hurricanes getting heaps of turnovers. Reds kicker Huxley couldn't kick a goal. Not sure of the exact score as I didn't wait round to see if the Hurricanes were awarded a try by the video ref in the dying minutes. Not good for the Reds this year.........was a shocker.

The Brumbies Crusaders game was very exciting and of high quality though.

Auckland Blues 30 Otago Highlanders 14 Crowd 20,000 ?

Mapusua can still get around for a big guy but I still like him after what he did to George Gregan in last years Islanders/Wallabies game .
I think Tuivaike will go places . Thats what the IRB world 7s series does to do you . Its helps you prepare for big games .
