i bought NRL 2 game yesterday!!! (finally!) It's now $30 at EB in Sydney :D It's a great game. Also got a Logitech Precision gamepad..for about $18.

just 3 problems so far

1. The game sometimes stops or fails to load properly. It usually happens when players pass the ball to sideline or kick the ball out on the full. I then have to click Ctrl-Alt-Del to get the task manager to terminate the game.

2. I find it much easier to use the keyboard to burst thru tackles and sidestep. The way the gamepad is set make it hard to sprint and side step at the same time. It is now harder to break tackles too.

By the way which button on the gamepad is Sprint when you defend? Is it the Boost/Action button (the most right hand button)

Is there anyway to change the control on the game pad?

3. How do you do the cool dummy half runs? which button (keyboard or gamepad) do you press?

Overall, it's such a fun game. I've been playing 10 minute games hahaha.

Round 1 :Roosters bt Cowboys 6-0
Round 2: Roosters drew Raiders 6-6 (After Extratime, still 6-6)
Round 3: Roosters bt Souths 6-1

nah not sure why they didnt offer us a config option...

Yep, it sure would've saved my controller from being snapped in half.

Not sure about the Logitech Precision gamepad but with the Logitech Rumblepad 2 Cordless you can change the buttons in the Control Panel using the latest drivers.
