In this weeks RLW there's an ad for a League Card game called "knock on". Has anyone got a pack or know anything about it?

maybe the guy works for the council :lol: :lol:

He had a fish n chip shop.....

I dunno if its the same game your talkin bout, but its based on the comp....youre a team of your choice and if you get a Q correct you get 2 pts and move up the ladder.

*Bloody brilliant if you ask me!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

*Why no-ones thought of it before.................??

* Note, heavy sarcasm intended.

So there are two games?

i dont know what "knock on" is, but the game talked about on 2UE tues (21/9) night was created by some guy who sold his fish n chip shop to finance it. Its a board game that has 2500 questions.
IMO it sounds like it will get boring real quick as 2500 quesitons isnt all that much when you think about.

Ive seen the board game in a store in the Brisbane CBD. It looks alright.

Knock On is some card based game that is advertised in RLW. Im thinking its a RL version of UNO? I dont know. I find it hard to believe no one has bought it out of everyone here.

Hi guys I have created a proper Rugby League card game but not sure who or how I can market and get this thing copyright. It's fast paced and based on game play of the game. I've tested it out on several people and they really liked it. If someone knows anything on how I can get this started it will be great help.

I don't know if many of you have played the card game "Dominion" (it's like a simplified, less nerdy version of Magic) but i can see the possibility that the mechanic could be adapted to work with a rugby league theme (or any sport really). The basic idea of the game is that you draft cards into your hand in an effort to build an efficient and powerful deck, with the intention of buying as many victory point cards as possible. The highest scoring card is, of course, the hardest to get but if you get a few of them you have a good shot at winning the game.

The hand drafting aspect of the game would work as an analogue to strategy and "building pressure" and attack and, if you get that right, you'll have a decent shot at breaching the defence and gaining victory points (tries). There would of course be plenty of trick cards that affect other players and give you extra powers.

Apologies for the nerd fantasy but it's very rare that the realms of Rugby league and board games intersect.
