For those in tipping competitions, remember to take injuries into account. Most of the teams are at close to full strength at this early stage of the season, which is a good argument for having a short pre-season like we do. The Telegraph liftout gives a good short summary of injuries, although leaves some key players out, e.g. Ryles (St George) and Girdler (Panthers) are not available and not mentioned in the injury lists.
