Rugby League rebranded?

Work on educating people about the difference. Everytime someone mentions union it should be rugby union. Not 95% of our own people saying 'rugby' like a bunch of parrots.

Even in those areas Id suggest the majority will think of Union if the word Rugby is mentioned. In parts of Australia its footy (like everything lol) in a small corridor of the M62 and Cumbria mention of rugby would mostly relate to League. PNG cant say as never been. Other than that the other 99.8% of the globe would be thinking union if Rugby is mentioned and have no concept that League is any different or even exists.

The horse has not only bolted, its three paddocks away!

There could be a very good brand position for League into the future if it could come up with a good new name. The story of how "Rugby" has evolved so far beyond the historic Union roots that it is now a totally different and far superior game.
