Plenty of points to go over and dissect. I’ve not read much of it yet.
Can you explain to me why financial targets have been set for the French teams, but not the English teams?
Doesn't it sound very iffy to you that Nigel Wood as ex chairman of the Bradford Bulls , who some how got promoted into Super League who haven't won anything of note for years and finished 3rd in the championship, and didn't even reach the championship grand final, yet get promoted to Super League and get full funding, yet the 2 teams who finished above them in the Championship, and contested the Championship grand final only get half funding?

In all honesty it's not rocket science to work out why Wood doesn't want to put financial targets on some clubs, and possibly the club where he was a chairman.
I'm amazed that Super League clubs can't see through Wood and his agenda.
Don't be surprised that IF the Bradford Bulls finish bottom of Super League Wood will come up with something so they don't get relegated.

Because the Pie and Peas Club don’t like them and treat the horrifically when there’s about £500,000 a year in the expenditure column for each French club so that the English can fulfil their fixtures every year. The big criticism from everyone’s favourite Derek Beaumont was that they didn’t bring away fans and buy pies. Genuinely.

Anyway, that’s a nice segway on to

I hope the English clubs aren't expecting any money from the French TV contract.

Ever heard of img grading? On the field only accounts for 25% of points available.

The plan for London, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. London makes sense. They’re a growing club and brand. Ireland, Scotland and Wales, why? There’s 6 clubs in Ireland, a similar number in Scotland and Wales isn’t that far ahead.
Wales is a long way ahead of Ireland and Scotland. Participation numbers in Wales have been growing significantly, especially over the past 3 years, with just under 5,000 registered club participants playing the sport last year. There's now over 25 clubs in the region, a number running teams from U6s to open age, add to that there are multiple school competitions, and Welsh schools have featured regularly in the national champion schools tournament (Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf defeated St Peter’s Catholic School of Wigan in the Yr8 final just last year), there are multiple Welsh universities and colleges that play in the BUCS RL competitions and their youth teams often compete with the English equivalents (the Welsh U16s defeated the England equivalent 18 - 0 in Widnes last year).

Considering Yorkshire reported just over 7,000 registered club participants in 2024, Wales is holding their own, especially with a smaller population (3.19m v 5.7m)

Which part of Wales is strongest when it it comes to Rugby League?!
