Kenya is embracing rugby league.
But with all the funding going to union, is looking for donations from 50p to fund the schools program.

Good luck!

I'd just like to give a word of advice to people running these crowd funding campaigns, like this one and the Serbian Schools one. Be as SPECIFIC as possible when describing what the money is for! People will be more likely to donate this way as they will be sure it's not any sort of a scam.

For example;
We aim to raise enough money so that we can:

- Buy 50 new Steeden balls
- Buy two tackle shields
- Cover a development officer's petrol costs to get to the two neigbhouring towns once a week for coaching sessions
- Buy a new training kit/boots for our newest team.

These are just examples, but just to give an idea of what I think would be a more effective fundraising campaign.

I believe from what Glenn Jamieson (man behind project) has said the money is being used to buy balls.

Following on from the comments, I will post links to any photos that are available.

KRLF was setup by the rebel Italian league to stage an international between Kenya and Italy.
The Kenyon team consisted of local beach rugby players.

I am told the KRLF is not involved with the Kenyon domestic game.
