Rule changes 2021

Now let me get this straight . Are you saying a well paid NRL referee vetted for his expertise, integrity ,professionalism and experience might use a rule such as 10 metres, 6 tackles,6 again play the ball detail, or whatever to favour one side over another ????

Just Asking for a friend ... Who is a Hartley Supporter By the Way .

A team being inside the 10 results in a "6 again" call.

Unless its a 'repeated infringement' and then the ref can award a penalty.

Say you're 1 point in front. There are 3 minutes to go and you're defending. Your teams offside so ref calls 6 again.
No issue - you back your defence to hold them out.
How many times can he call 6 again before its a 'repeated infringement' penalty?
Because once he does they take the 2 and go 1 in front.
Game over.

Is a 'repeated infringement' penalty at a refs discretion or is there an official number of 6 again calls before a penalty is awarded.

Because lm thinking if we are the team in front by 1 point do we get the same amount of 6 again calls before a penalty is awarded as the rorters might.
Smart coaches will exploit the rule,
I am confident we having the coaching team to do this assembled by Bomber

Play the ball rule is a simple one for bomber sit down with Tolman, Woods. Fifita, Graham
And say U are the experienced forwards you set the example, younger guys will follow, but if you screw up play the ball you play next week in Jets, that would show Bomber is running the ship

Like the play the ball one (penalty always too severe). Like the trainer one.

Don’t get the fieldgoal one. What issue are they trying to fix? Surely no one wants to see more of these f**king things?

The rest, meh

Don't be surprised for 2022 that there is an optional 4 point conversion for a try, instead of kick for goal, you get a scrum 10 meters out in middle of field, in defence breaks early player goes to bin and you get scrum again, you get 1 play score it's a 4 point conversion.
The way the rules committee are it could happen.

f**k it why don't they (the NRL) cut out all the bullshit and just make it "Last Try Wins"
