It was the 1998 Royal Rumble. I watched it like a week ago, and have it on video. 1.

1998 is when everyone just wanted to elimnate Austin in the Rumble beacsue he was beating them up backstage etc - i believe there was no money in eliminating him

1999 McMahon put a 100, 000 dollar bounty on his head, and with the rocks help, Vince Elimnated him...so Vince gace the money to the Rock.

I'm going to download every Royal Rumble. I have the 1988 and 1992 ones so far, plus 2003/2004 (and about to be 2005) on video. That means I have ... 13 left to download :lol:

Tru dat it was 99 lol. I just remembered everyone waiting for him, then SCSA coming from behind lol. 2000 i agree was pretty average, but the event as a whole was awesome.

My Favorite rumble would be 2001 I think, just so many surprises etc.

2000 is when the Rock took out Big Show was it? I think I've got that on tape actually. The 1997 one finished yesterday, it's not too bad. The ending was a bit rushed but it was nice to have a moment where all the following men were in the ring at one time:

The Undertaker
Bret Hart
Steve Austin

Don't see that kind of quality in the ring all at once these days!
