There is a strong rumour in Castleford, England That your ex assistant coach and castleford coach Terry Mattersen has signed a player from your team. Apparently he is a young back rower who played a few games for your 1st grade last season and he would count as a kolpak player

I Dont have a name but looking at your playing squad nigel plum or joe picker would look the most likely.

Joe Picker is on contract until the end of 2010, not sure on Plum but they'd be stupid to let him go

plum is on contract until the end of 09. so it couldn't be either one of them.

If they are eligible in terms of KOLPAK then it certainly won't be either Plum or Picker unless they have Islander roots.

id say the rumor is utter tripe
the only one who fits the decription of "young back rower who played a few games for your 1st grade" is Joe Picker, who is contracted till 2010 and i can GARENTEE he is not going to be going anywhere until that contract is up. Big bright future in the NRL

I wouldnt think so, he qualifys under the kolpak player bit but he's always spoken how home sick he gets, being away from QLD and his family... i doubt a move to the UK would be on his agenda.
