    EELS SNAG BLAKE
Parramatta have signed one of the hottest prospects in the game from Manly. There were 10 clubs circling for back-rower Blake Harrison, who was prepared to stay at Brookvale for a quarter of the money offered elsewhere. However, the Sea Eagles had to release him when his older brother, NRL forward Daniel Harrison, signed with the Eels.

So much of a hot prospect Manly didn't even post a page for him:

How sickening. We are such a disgracefully embarrassing club.

That doesn't excuse the fact that we have been a basket case in regards to admin, which filters down all the way to the playing group, for more then three decades. And nothing has changed in that regards either.

Sticky or no Sticky, Nolan or no Nolan, we will never be a super club ala The Dogs until that is addressed. I'm sure Sticky will do well enough, but the club is still being run by armatures and until that is addressed, nothing will REALLY change as far as the overall culture and direction of our club.

Agreed but he may not have much time for the current board, possibly.......he would win in a landslide, regardless of whether he is the best candidate........

    That's the thing I don't get.
What experience does he have in this regard?
None. Don't we want the BEST candidates to be on the board?
In saying that, you're right. He would romp it in. I just don't think he'd get my vote.

did anyone even ask where it is coming from? ..... one minute he's announced as a tackling coach, then someone, who coincidently asked what hindy is doing less than 24 hrs earlier, makes a claim he heard he is running for the board (from who?) - and now we are discussing it like it has any legs

no disrespect to anyone, i love a good rumour, but i really don't think its happening .... and hardly worth the chit chat
