My aversion is changing a winning formula, it’s not that I think he’d be bad in the middle. He created so many opportunities for us on the left edge, we’re already staring at an impotent right edge without Naden. It’d be crazy to change things right now.

Not crazy at all if it improves the side. Doing things the same way all the time is crazy, you have to willing to try things and evolve, imagine if we never tried Yeo or Fish in the middle? I think it’s crazy not to try him there at least a little bit, I’ve wanted to see it for a couple years now. If it doesn’t work out you leave him on the edge it’s not like if we decide to play him in the middle he can only play in the middle.

Hopefully he stays. Surely Yeo and Luai get announced. Be nice for a signing or two.

2. Tamou was our captain in our most successful season for a long time, hard to judge his loss just on individual performances, but he was very good this year.

3. Burton is a genuine future star

4. Laurie not many are upset over


The biggest concern for me is how hard it is to get the signatures we want secured. There’s no way they would’ve wanted it to take this long.

Burton = Why can't you sign hin back in 3yrs? If he left for more money now then come next time around when he is due for a bumper deal you dont think he will either milk the dogs for every cent or go elsewhere?

The question is who do you prefer? I do not know enough a out the two to determine who will have the better career.
I do know plenty of juniors are overated by their own fans. I still remember when Eels fans where convinced Bevan French was superior to Cam Munster when I was saying we should throw the book at Munster.
