Who is availabe? Broncs and cows were plum gigs both struggled in finding one. No Bellamy they lose their appeal especially his art of turning plodders good

Coaches will break contracts to be with that team. I could see Adam O’Brien being their target, only a one year overlap between his contract at Newcastle.

We don't. We aren't in a foreign city though we have very good pathways to produce talent with a core of the side locked away. Players know who the coach will be less of a gamble to come here

Man, you underestimate the Storm. They were successful before Bellamy went there, they’ve got rich, professional owners. They’ve got the best spine in the comp.

Bart Campbell, their majority owner has worked in sports management his whole life. He’s not just big in rugby league, he’s big in rugby Union as well.

Matt Tripp is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, successful private equity businessman.

Gerry Ryan is worth half a billion dollars, successful businessman, horse owner etc.

These guys are as professional as it gets it rugby league.

Do you really think owners like this will struggle to attract a good CEO and coach?!

The storm are a great organisation but I don’t think Bellamys importance can be underestimated. While there is no doubt the storm will attract another good coach I can’t see anyone matching Bellamys top eight finishes and gf appearances or his general ability to improve players. The storm are going to lose their two biggest leaders in the nrl team with bellyache and smith, that will be a huge loss when it happens.

the expectation will be huge for whoever replaces Bellyache & co - they will have the spine it seems to assist but its no guaranteed thing.

it also depends on the rest of the NRL clubs (us included) to get better to catch the level of success the roosters & storm have had in recent years

If you are a player you want to be coached by him. It is the only thing going for living in that shit hole. New coach won't have that nor can turn journeyman players around

how many of those guys would be an attraction for a player on the market.

You don't think Broncos have the same quality behind the scenes? Yet can't replace Bennett. What makes Storm different?

If Penrith had that kind of financial backing behind them I am sure it would make a huge difference.

Cameron Smith will coach them in a few years, after jason ryles has a go, they wont have an issue, without belyache, just probably wont be top 4 every season, maybe top 8

Ok so?
Who gives a fk? Let them get a spoonful of wooden goodness, besides how did we derail this signings thread by praising storm any their magnificent cheating systems

Because I see them being worse off than us hence the panic here unfounded
