Chee kams not nrl standard.
Topine is your typical 14 imo doesmt really quite fit into a particular role and caught between 9 and the edge.
Stimsons solid but defs not on minimums
Murchie also wouldnt be minimums but hes been avg in fg.
RFM unfortunatley was a good player but hes body is giving up on him.. not sure 250 to 300k is worth the risk given the lack of footys hes played..

Someone like riki would have played or be playing at clubs like the tigers and dogs and warriors where they all come from..

Those 3 teams are all fighting for the spoon so those guys arent exactly much chop and would cost us more than to keep riki.

195cm and 107kgs. Clearly has a bit of ability 95% tackle rate and can play 80.... on 110k. Not sure why we wouldnt throw him another 12 months with an option for a 2 year extension snd pay rise depending on performance... eg if hd plays regular fg.

Hes the closest to kiks at least in build and style that we have and thats on the market. Skill wise nowhere near but no one is.

Garner took unders to come. Others will too as a way to get more elsewhere after we make them good

This is what I have been eluding too. Don’t replace Fringe guys on minimum with other fringe guys on minimum. Riki is now a must keep even though I thought he was before.

The issue is though. The fringe guys can see playing FG at other clubs rather then not wanting to sign them here

Maybe so but riki will know or at least should hes a realistic chance of fg next year.

Hes in the position where if he finishes off nsw cup strong and injury free this year with them maybe winning a comp and he has a huge off season than i think hes well and truly would be in the running for a fg spot.

If he wants to be a good nrl player smart move is to stay with us. If he just wants to play nrl his manager could square away a deal for him to go tigers or warriors etc on more than what he is with us but he probs wont improve as the standards in terms of coaching and quality there is nowhere near as high.

Ivan and co should be in his ear about where he needs to be to be getting a shot next year.

He is 24. 25 next year so will want to be where he plays FG

There is no guarantee our bench changes next year
Garner in for Kikau

Family all interstate or in NZ too. So it isn't even like he has a tie to the area like some of the others.

That is the problem with keeping the NSW Cup guys. Turuva agreed to stay but has ties to the area
