Christian is depth, should be behind T.May and Staines surely. Once dev players are available he might find himself behind Turuva for a wing spot also and there is Rob Jennings.

Also Jenkins. I'd also consider a return to the wing for Kikau before Christian

TPJ was 605, the next debut will be 606.

That list is wrong - in late 2013 / early 2014, the Panthers retrospectively added two new players - John Wilson (531) and Bruce Martin (532). Also, they have double counted Robert Jennings (listed as 599) - he is actually player 549 on account of him debuting in 2015, before going to Souths and the Tigers and returning to Penrith in 2021. Sorenson was 599, Hopgood was 600.

There were actually two John Wilson's that played for Penrith within two years - in 1972, there was one who made one appearance as a replacement (and later was in the Western Division squad that won the Amco Cup in 1974). That one as far as I am aware is number 84.

John Wilson #531 is the Parramatta recruit who played halfback in 1974.

The only bit of info I have been able to find so far on Bruce Martin was that he was listed as a life member (or something like that) for the Cambridge Park JRLFC, but no idea when he played.

The 2014 debutants then got added, so Jamie Soward is listed as 533, and so on...

Self promotion aside, this is the numbers list:

Totally confusing

Christian will do a job in NSW Cup and likely get the call up in Origin period. Will be a good moment for Christian and Stephen to play together this year - no doubt it should happen at some stage (Origin time best bet). would be pretty cool if they played on the same side ala Morris boys, who knows maybe that might give him more confidence playing outside of his brother.

would it be fair to say if we saw Christian more than Staines on the wing (because of performance reasons) - could Staines be on the outer in October 2022?
Good chance Stephen might be in Origin jersey too, but it would be good for them.

Top of my head.
John Cartwright and Jed.
David Cartwright and Bryce.
Bob Landers and Kurt.
Mark Levy and Chris.
Gary Pethybridge and Scott.
Could be others.
Possibly MG and son in the next year or two. Is there a young Alexander coming through?

Mark Geyers son will play FG for us barring some kind of terrible injury. The best one is two father son coach player duo's winning premierships.

Braith Alexander. In the Flegg squad.
Thanks, I thought that I'd seen the Alexander name mentioned.

If it was my side I'd have Staines start at fullback in NSW cup and see how he goes.
If he looks the goods I would move Edwarfs to centre. He runs hard and defends well. I can not see him failing in that position.
