2. Ive heard him say twice we are still in the mix and he is very interested - one of those times was straight after it was reported he was resigning with storm, so he came out to quash that.
3. Fitzy revealed in his presser that he had been talking to bellyache "2 weeks ago". Bellamys decision is in limbo. Has been for months as he waits on his wifes health. Everyone has said and offeres thier piece so why would bellamy and fitz been in communication. Well...many reasons but a couple of big ones. One is called Hynes and one is called Chad.
4. If he was staying at the storm he wouldve announced it. It serves no purpose to leave his own club in any doubt or confusion. He isnt announcing us so it doesnt derail storms 2021. They have to get thru SOO and then he can. So they can build toward his farewell.

Cheese is off contract and nobodys closer to bellyache. Theres the 9.
We just need an enforcer in the 8 or 10.

I can easily see SJ adapting his game to more of a playmaker role a la Benji. Old legs, but still quick between the ears.

SJ can kick. Nicho can kick. Brailey can kick. Graham can kick.


FYI - despite Moylan's excellent form so far this season, personally I'd prefer to keep Tracey as our specialist 14. Move Moyza on and use that cap dollar for a proper strike centre. But the real question is who's available?

I’m all for signing players where needed, a la Hynes, McIness, Finucane (maybe) etc but I’m also a massive fan of bringing through the juniors and academy players in your club. We’ve seen how successful Penrith are at it and where they are now, and they have the appropriate systems in place to make this happen, but I’d love to see some more local talent sprinkled through our side.

I know we have a fair few as it is, but I think it’s definitely an area the club should focus on in the new Fitzgibbon era
