its always funny seeing broncos fans not being able to come to grips with reality. their the only club that seems to struggle to accept that some players just dont wanna be there.

He's got a funny way of showing he doesn't wanna be here.

6 time Bronco of the year winner (nobody else at the club has done that), stayed thick through our wooden spoon days. Had plenty of opportunities to leave and he was prepared to hold the club ransom at one point there, might have been the last time his contract came up for negotiation, got boo'd out of the stadium.

Nothing he has done on the field has given off the impression he doesn't want to be here.

A bloke like Xavier Coates, he didn't want to be here.

While it is all speculation, unless I have missed something, but if there is an R360 or any rugby get out clause in the Haas contract with South's or any other player has a similar clause, surely the NRL would not register the contract?

The NRL registers contracts with player options all the time.

This is likely a more restrictive version.

The suggestion that Payne Haas called Souths and is leaving for the same ammount of money, I just can't come into it.

We're in a much much better spot than Souths are, even with Reynolds and Hunt on the way out. We just won the comp. Payne Haas endured years of mediocrity at the club, easily our best for a long time there, only to leave after we win the comp for the same ammount of money? It makes no sense.

I reckon the journos need a hit piece and have got no sources on this one. They're just throwing shit and hoping it sticks.
Madge and or his team mates loose off field antics (not that trell is much better)

Weedler said broncos tried to lowball him which sounds like bs to me

Obviously Bennett is a huge factor too

Haas' manager confirmed it to be bullshit too.

I decided to watch Bloke in a bar for the first time on the weekend. Denan just couldn't come to terms with it. He kept saying shit like "but why!? I wanna know why!"

It happens to every club at some point in time. Even Cronk left the Storm.

I get contracts having player options. But a specific option to release a player to go to R360 if it gets off the ground flies in the face of all the tough talking that PVL did of banning players even talking to R360.

He's not going to be in Brisbane for the season, he'll get an early release so he can assume his new identity at Souths.
Sunny Bill was out the door the moment someone said one thing about him being Muslim.
I think the Broncos will be happy to let him go. What you do in your own time is up to you but the fact your teammates will literally have to call him a different name puts it right in everyone's face.
This is why he's going to Souths.

Awkward times ahead for the Broncos until he goes.
