Coz the players association don't want to cop WADA suspensions. They do get drug tested by the NFL, but the sanctions are lame. First offence for using performance enhancing drugs - up to 6 game suspension (Adrian Edelman got 4 weeks). Second offence....what do you reckon....a year, 2 years....nah a suspension of up to 10 games. And if you get caught in the off-season, you don't get suspended you get sent on a course.

Much like their Olympic athletes. Not sure if still the same but if it was inconvenient for the athlete to be tested (as in too far away) he/she just wasn't.

Roosters are happy to let Napa and Dogs are throwing big dollars at him. Played Origin but he has a judiciary record a mile long which means any suspension he cops will likely be long - Dogs are talking $3.6 mill over 4 years and I don’t think he is worth that. I don’t really think he is an intimidator either.

I think we will pick up Danny Levi early next week nd would be very happy with he and Mahoney for next season.

I would be swinging for the fences on James Fisher Harris, Reece Robson or Wayne Egan (if Mahoney doesn’t work out) Josh Kerr and Joe Ofehengaue. We have 20 players off contract in a year where the off contract players are slim pickings really...

Hopefully by then our juniors who'll play this year and the other up and comers will form the nucleus of our squad with a few new experienced and good additions to assist them.

Very raw but an interesting prospect for sure. It is rare the Duke lets one slip through his hands but they are stacked in the backs and have long term wing options at representative level in DWZ and Mansour.

If Maika turned out well we could have a huge bonus on the flanks with him and Fergo punching 150mtrs a game between them.

Just specialisation. A slot receiver is typically a smaller, more agile guy than the wide receivers (who are tall and have near Olympic-level speed). The game day squad is 46 players, I guess 18 of which might play an active role on offense on more than a single play.
