I still maintain that we lost to the Dolphins because they have speed to burn at just about every position. Some of their cover defence/scrambling in that game was the difference.

Averillo is a big part of what makes them hard to outflank and Ryles said he wanted more speed so this guy would be perfect. His defence is also solid, which is a bonus.

WTF is the world coming to, I mean what a load of rubbish. Have the animals started ignoring the basic laws of nature and rejected the food chain due to an understanding that what they did in the past eating meat was wrong?!

PS I’m definitely warming to the Panthers story. 6 wins in a row and plenty of troops coming back in deck next week. Edwards ran for over 300m and bagged 2.

They looked a bit wounded earlier but holy hell if they keep this trajectory it’s going to be a bloody exciting ride.

I think I’d rather see them get a 5th in a row then the Storm, or god forbid the Dogs!

More a pipe dream than anything else. He's signed till end of '26 but Dolphins have Cobbo coming next year and will need to re-sign Herbie, who won't come cheap. There's also some talk he's homesick for Sydney, so it's probably wishful thinking on our part.
