We need to do something for next year (even the rest of this year). We're wasting the prime of Moses and Lomax's careers with the current players we have around them

To be ultra competitive we probably need something like a starting 17 quality half, two edge forwards and a hooker/utility. Two of which would need to be very good or elite calibre.

I think the following team is feasible salary cap wise.
  1. Isiaah IONGI
  2. Josh ADDO-CARR
  3. Bailey SIMONSSON
  4. Will PENISINI
  5. Zac LOMAX
  6. Lachlan GALVIN
  7. Mitchell MOSES
  8. Junior PAULO
  9. Billy WALTERS
  10. Jack WILLIAMS
  11. David FIFITA
  12. Billy BURNS
  13. J’Maine HOPGOOD
  14. Ryley SMITH
  15. Dylan WALKER
  16. Luca MORETTI
  17. Sam TUIVATI

I know that this isn't my teams forum but this was too good not to put in here.

This song basically describes every 40 year old parramatta fans life ever. Haha

To be honest we need a couple of “statement” signings, as we don’t appear to have anything occurring that would ensure success. My daughter and husband will definitely not be renewing season tickets, said they don’t see why they should spend close to $1200 for what the club is offering. They will buy GA tickets when they fancy going to a game, would imagine there are a few gold members also in that situation.

it’s not melodramatic, but we have been starved of excitement and impetus from playing style to signings, can understand the reluctance to renew. Pou , don’t come on and blabber about GF in 2022, that was as painful as could be.
It might've been painful but the wins over Canberra and the Cowboys in that finals series were great. Just making a grand final is an achievement. Only five teams have managed that in the past five years, and we are one of them.

We need a rep quality prop, but will likely need to wait until 27. If Paulo retires end of 26 we may need 2.

11. Williams
12. Samrani
13. Hoppy/Walker

14. walker/hoppy

Would develop well and save us $800k on Fifita.

Ryley is our starting 9 for the next decade.

If Billy Burns’s performance last week for the Sharks wasn’t a fluke, he could be a very good signing and fills our need for an edge back rower (particularly given it’s a very week market right now). He’s a player with potential and already on the way to being fully developed

Interesting options where we send our 12th home game next year.

I prefer we keep it at commbank but after speaking to the Chairman and CEO last night at the members function in Newy something is in the pipeline to replace Darwin home game.

Depends on logistics and a few other factors across the next few months but the plan the club seem keen on i can live with that option especially as it wont be a disadvantage when it comes to climate.

He said now he is finally happy the coaching setup is good now.
But I’d had a few beers so likely got it very wrong.

I’m sorry ok. You guys sound like me wife implying I don’t listen, or whatever it was she was on about.

Just heard Ryles interview and geez I like him. He is extreme measured and talked really openly.

Said he has never had one thought in ripping up the roster that it was the right thing to do. He said there is still more to come! Didn’t talk about future signings.

Spoke highly of Jack Williams who started as an backrower but played in the middle. He reminded everyone that there are 7 or 8 players in the squad with less than 30 games experience and a few like Iongi etc that have less than 10!

He struck me in his words and demeanour as a coach who was extremely comfortable in where he is at on our journey with steep improved performances in sight.
